Stackable units take up about half the floor space by placing the dryer on top of the washer. They fit in standard laundry closets (about 27-30 inches wide). Capacity is slightly smaller but still handles everyday loads for 1-3 people comfortably. Ideal for apartments, condos, and homes without a dedicated laundry room.
A full-size set handles about 15-20 lbs per load, while a stackable handles about 10-15 lbs. For a single person or couple, stackable capacity is more than sufficient. Families of 4+ may prefer full-size to reduce the number of loads per week.
